Writing CCRA and the Diploma Thesis

Clinical Case Report and Analysis

Clinical Case Reports and Analysis (CCRA) is a requirement for the students of second cycle professional higher education study programme "veterinary medicine'' in study courses that are indicated by the FVM Methodological Commission.

Its objectives are:

1) To systemise, increase and establish the knowledge and practical skills of the students in research of veterinary medicine;

2) To acquire and develop the practical research skills in the relevant field of veterinary medicine;

3) To encourage the development and presentation of the practical and research work and the acquisition of the veterinary medicine research methods (selection of the literature sources, analysis, critical evaluation, investigation of the research material, interpretation of the results etc.);  

4) To acquire the principles of the structure of a scientific paper and the principles of making bibliographic references.

Diploma Thesis

The Diploma Thesis is planned in the amount of 10 CP in the study plan of second cycle professional higher education study programme “Veterinary Medicine”. The thesis is a written research which students develop during the 10th, 11th and 12th semesters of their studies and defend in front of the State Examination Commission.

The methodological guidelines approved by the FVM Council provide instructions on the structure and design of the thesis.

The development of the thesis is conducted in accordance with the calendar plan that is approved by the Council of FVM for the respective academic year.
